What it is

GA4 is Google's free analytics platform. Add a small script to your site and you get dashboards for traffic, user behaviour and conversions. We teach it so builders know if anyone actually sees their work.

How to set up

1. 01 Sign in at analytics.google.com with a Google account.
2. 02 Create a GA4 property for your website.
3. 03 Copy the Measurement ID (starts with G-).
4. 04 Add the gtag script to your site layout (we show this in the website course).
5. 05 Verify data in Realtime report within a few minutes.
